SAN DIEGO!

Went to San Diego this past weekend with the whole family (Me, my wife, my mom, my kids). After checking into our hotel & getting unpacked we went out to eat at the Olive Garden to celebrate my wife Amy's birthday. After that we hit Old Town San Diego & did a little SHOPPING. It was really nice there & the atmosphere reminded me of Olvera Street in Los Angeles. The next day we woke up early & after breakfast at Denny's, we ventured off to SEA WORLD. The Shamu show was incredible. I am not an animal person in the least, but I was struck by the beauty, grace & intelligence of these animals. Jacob, Amy & me got on the Atlantis ride & had a blast. We bought a group photo & then headed back to Los Angeles....a lil tired but thoroughly entertained.

Well I haven't been doing to good in regards to keeping this blog updated but I have been busy lately due in most part to my son returning to school. Kindergarten is now the new 1st grade. This kid has a regiment of schoolwork on a nightly basis & it is pretty tough stuff for a 5 year old. Math, writing & logic problems are the norm.

Well anyway since the last post I went to see TOOL perform at the Staples Center in downtown LA & they kicked ASS! Here is the setlist from the show:

Lost Keys (Blame Hoffman)
Rosetta Stoned
Stinkfist
The Pot
46 & 2
Jambi
Schism
Vicarious
Aenema
Wings For Marie (Part1)
10,000 Days (Wings Part 2)
Lateralus

They played Wings 1 & 2 for only the second time ever & it was so dope to see Maynard open his heart up & sing a beautiful song for his departed Mother. Closing the set with Lateralus was also a good choice as that song rocked the arena like a Muh' Fucka'.

What a night!
